Una delegación del Korean Institute for Advancement of Technology visita el CNB

In order to discuss systems of technology commercialization, supports for spin-off companies, technology transfer and strategic partnership with key players in biotechnological industries, members of the Korean Institute for Advancement of Technology visited CNB.

Brain Park Inc. is a consulting company in South Korea. We have been serving Ministry of knowledge and economy of South Korean central government as well as subsidiary organizations of the ministry such as KIAT (Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology), Association of Hub Universities for Industrial Collaboration, various Science Parks and Universities. We mainly carry out educational and strategic projects of University-Industry Collaboration, technology developments, technology transfers, technologic human resources developments and small & medium enterprise supports. The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) was recently established in May 2009 as a quasi-government institute (a public institute) under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. To promote Korea’s industrial development and industrial technology innovation, KIAT is playing a crucial role in suggesting R&D strategies for industrial technology through systemic technology planning and policy research. Together with KIAT, Association of Hub Universities for Industrial Collaboration has been promoting open collaboration between industries and universities and establishing an industrial collaboration networks. Currently we were requested by KIAT and Association of Hub Universities for industrial Collaboration to organize a visit to Centro Nacional de Biotechnologia. They are very interested in Centro Nacional de Biotecnologia’s system of Technology Commercialization, supports for spin-off companies, Technology transfer and strategic partnership with key players in BT industries in Madrid. The purpose of a visit is to have a chance to get better understanding of CNB’s; 1.Technology Transfer and Commercialization system of CNB. 2.Supports for Spin-off companies and its process 3.CNB’s strategic cooperation with industries, R&D institutions and Universities. 4.Success and achievement of CNB. The visitor’s group will consist of 32 head of hub universities and researchers from the Association of Hub Universities for Industrial Collaboration. Visiting Schedule: August 24, 2010 10:00 ~ 12:00 Total Number of the visitor: 32 + interpreter Requests; 1.Briefing on the above mentioned topics. 2.Tour of major facilities of CNB.
